The in-country director will provide information and guidance to students on many topics, including health issues. It is important that the director be fluent in Polish and know the local conditions in order to advise and help students appropriately. Visiting U.S. faculty may also serve as a kind of director or advisor for students, but the in-country director is the main point of contact for almost issue during the program.
