The Role of the Director
The director is the point of contact for any problems that arise during the program. This includes travel, events and any issues with the housing or living situation. The director will also be concerned with student welfare. If any personal issues arise of a more serious nature, the director will refer the student to professional counseling. If any medical emergencies arise the director or on-site staff in the dormitory will personally accompany students to the clinic or even to the hospital.
